I think this is just the manner PSO2 is designed

To be fair, at the time the player is PSO2 Meseta no longer a newcomer, and the game pops a message when you hit level 70 that she has new client orders for you.

I understand exactly what you mean however. Though I think this is just the manner PSO2 is designed; it doesn't try to hold participant's hands at all.

Take force such as. You unlock mix techs at level 70 however NOWHERE in the match does it tell you that. You need to go upstairs in the primary lobby and speak to an npc you have never needed to previously talk to do a client order to unlock them.

I can understand the matter. The game heaps so much shit that they expect one to read for a match I do not even know if I will enjoy or not.

My experience was such:"Oh phantasy star is out on steam now I'll check it out to see if I even care about it", do intro things for a few great gameplay. Game screeches to a halt and bombards me with textbox following text box and then the intro video, I have to keep talking to individuals for more text boxes. More tutorials I get by talking to random NPC's around the gateway that I do not remember being directed to at the first place for matters such as the mag and such. Then I visit literally every NPC has like 5+ orders which I do not even understand what is going on. So today I am like 30-40 minutes in (likely more) once I even made my character and I have not even done one assignment outside that initial one.

This was all on top of trying to figure out the menus are even layed out or function, so I forgot shit. Shit that I still don't know whether I could reaccess the tutorials to get. At some point I simply stopped going through this"ease in" process they have you do because it was becoming so much to keep track of so fast when all I needed to do was see if I even like the sport.

Like with your case of arks missions in the start, I immediately forgot that even existed because of all of the other tutorials it bombarded me with (IIRC the minute after you are made to open the arks assignment webpage it loads that movie roughly PSO2). I believed for performing things, those popups was deposited somewhere until I went back to check the assignment menu . Not only this but there's so many things recorded there that I just never read through them all so even what it might lead you also were lost on me because I didn't feel like keeping up with customer orders/arks missions/tutorials/trying to play the cheap Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta game so early.
